The story so far . . .

After graduating with a BA(Hons) in Fashion and Textiles, a Dip. of Industrial Studies, and a N.I.S.B.I. I moved to London to work as a Children's Fashion Designer.  Years later, having designed clothing ranges, working and traveling abroad, managing, and setting up a design studio, comp. shopping, and forecasting trends, I took my doodles that I did in my spare time to Indigo in Paris and found that people wanted to purchase them.

I gave up life in smokey London and moved with my husband and pets to a traditional Irish cottage deep in the emerald countryside. Here I set up another design studio, Cinnamon Joe Studio, directed projects, supplied trends, worked with an amazing team of artists, and represented them with my husband, (Paul not Joe), as well as still doodling my own artwork.

Fast forward 18 years, the cottage has been redesigned and extended, and I have a happy studio in the garden, where I create, looking out over fields of cows, sheep, and sometimes pheasants and foxes. I have had the pleasure of designing for Old Navy, American Greetings, Paperchase, Hallmark, Hobby Lobby, Carters, Kids ii, International Greetings, Jo-Ann Stores, Barnes and Noble, Design House Greetings, Disney, and Warner Bros. to name but a few.

Every day I learn something new and I am a constant student of anything art-related.

I have a sizeable library of children's picture books which I spent years collecting, looking at, and reading. This inspired me to learn how to illustrate a narrative and led to a now published picture book, commissioned by author Bob Walker, called Do Kangaroos Have Eyebrows?
